I really really want to go here…
thedailywhat:

Interior Design of the Day: The interior of the Bryant Park branch of Manhattan-based coffee shop D’Espresso was designed by Nema Workshop’s Anurag Nema to resemble a sideways library.
The “books” are actually tiles printed with sepia-toned photos of bookshelves at a local travel bookstore that ring the room, including the floor, walls and ceiling. In addition to painting unusual surfaces with intriguing patterns — whoa, you’re standing on books! — it gives an Alice in Wonderland-esque sense that the room has been suddenly upended.

Science Proves Kissing Is Awesome

One of my favourite blogs is You Are Not So Smart… Subtitled as a ‘celebration of self delusion’, it exists to point out the ways our rational and logical thinking is often pretty irrational.

For example… Why do we kiss?

As it turns out, the answer may have something to do with a virus that, somewhat awesomely, sounds like a dinosaur and has the power to heal babies. Kinda.

We love to kiss, and we do it instinctively. The urge to do it springs up from deep within – but why?

One of the answers is the cytomegalovirus.

Seriously… Read the whole thing

I think the lyrics of this song are brilliant, and the Sun Kil Moon version fits the mood far better… Although Glenn Tipton is still my favourite SKM track.
